Biggest mistake with the new diesels is to buy one.

Yeah I just installed a K&N and I wish I had seen this video before buying it. The fit is so disappointing with the huge gaps and the bottom and at the front along the rad support.

Add a locking diesel and def cap. This will hopefully keep you focused and also from the disaster of adding def to your diesel.

You need front fender mud flaps to prevent the dirt kicked up on the rear fenders. WeatherTech makes good ones that help prevent that.

That carbon build up is not from the ccv. Its from the EGR. That being said the ccv does introduce alot of oil into the intake system.

I agree, if you remove the stabilizer bar and the support, all you need to do is rotate the battery and it will come out, no need to disassemble the wires from the fusible link or remove the coolant overflow tank, just push it back and get it out of the way.

All I’mma say is, if my stock F-150 can get deep into trails, there’s no reason the same truck with extra clearance can’t make it. Rough country seems to have really increased their quality and overall product performance.

Snapon sells tool wipes to reapply the rust inhibitor. If you use brake clean on your tools or anything that removes oil coating from the pliers, bare metal tends to rust.

no one complains about the ride being too stiff? Gen 2 has a much more comfortable suspension with leaf springs. The Raptor 37 is too sporty, there is not much left of the old gen 2 nice spring. Have to sell my gen 3 and keep the gen 2.

A couch, loveseat and two arm chairs fit in my '01 ranger long bed. The next time i moved we loaded it on my '04 Silverado crew cab and it didn't fit the whole living room! Wish I still had the little green ranger.

I bought a 93 Ford ranger 14 years ago with 223,000 miles for $1400 to daily to work. The reason so cheap it needed a new hydraulic slave cylinder for clutch. It now has 508,000+ miles and still rocking the original engine transmission and rear end! It's pretty much rust free as well since i undercoat it with the old oil from oil changes once a year with a paint brush. Drive train has never been out of vehicle, no tics taps or raps, nor does it leak anything!!! 3000-3500 mile oil changes and just good regular maintenance! Love my daily ranger, never Left me ever! It has factory ford 15" chrome wheels and an aftermarket old school tube grill and tinted windows so it looks descent as well? Lol I originally wanted an older Tacoma but the prices were out the roof!

I am dealing with a similar issue right now. I went to my rebel earlier today with my family to hop in the car and take a ride down to target usually the car unlocks as soon as I touch the door it has a sensor on the back of the door handle and automatically locks or unlocks I push the button on the front of the door, but it was not working. I tried it a couple of times still not working so I took the key out of my pocket and went to unlock the door again to my surprise did not unlock. I continue to push the unlock and lock button and nothing the LED light on the key fob was flashing so I knew it had power in the battery. Also, the battery on my car is new. Sign knew it couldn’t be that thankfully makes it pretty easy to unlock and open the door by removing the safety key. I put the key key into the door handle, unlock the door , but the alarm went off, I pushed the start button and the alarm turned off however, it was not recognizing my key fob. I continue to click the key fob to see if it would lock or unlock to success. My screen said, key fob found, and said to press start up with key fob when I do this, the car will start , after starting the car and driving it a few blocks, I noticed that the key fob is now locking and unlocking the car however, it still says that it cannot recognize the key fob on my screen and I still have to touch the start stop button with the key fob this is very confusing my truck is completely stuck. The only thing on it that has been replaced is the battery and that was almost a year ago. I did not leave the car sitting for an extended period of time. It was only overnight I do live in San Francisco in the city and the cars parked out on the street. I’m thinking it’s a possibility that someone might’ve come along and try to break into the vehicle and that might be why the car signal is all out of whack either that or there’s just an issue with these rams and their key fobs because I’ve noticed a lot of people have random issues with them for no reason if anyone has any information on this, please let me know

Unless they are running a reverse date on the Calendar Day 115 would for 2021 April 25th the final Sunday of the month if it was the actual number year 2022 it would be Monday the 25th. The number should be counting forward in the calendar not backwards. With the whole subtract 1 from the year I do find odd.

I drove a 2007 Dodge RAM 5.9 Cummins tuned with a stage 2 SunCoast Billet transmission for 6 Months while I waited for my ordered 2024 F350 SRW 6.7 HO Platnium Tremor to come in. that truck was a lot of fun and felt reliable as the day is long, I put 10,000 miles on that truck (from 117k to 127k miles) I tough about keeping it many times BUT the technology of the new truck is LEAPS and BOUNDS ahead of the 07’ RAM. I understand cost wise that the RAM was a far more reasonable choice but the 500hp and 1,200 pounds of torque while getting my butt and back massaged as I am towing the 18,000 pound 5th wheel RV is simply Amazing!!

Just a little secret. Don't buy the jugs of def. Just buy it from the truck stop def pump. It's constantly being rotated. And in is higher quality.

These are not necessarily problems. I was hoping to see common problems that occur with the Raptor. How is the reliability of the V6 engine, gearbox? Why exactly do people complain most often when they take their cars in for service?
